Clubs & Activities

Forest continues to expand on a wealth of activities which are diverse and exciting in their appeal. We strive to provide a platform in which our children can enjoy new interests and pursue existing talents.

Certain clubs will run for the duration of the academic year whilst  others run for shorter periods in order for us to offer a greater variety of choice.

These are an example of recent and current clubs and opportunities that have taken place at Forest.

In addition to our extra curricular activities every class has a programme of educational visits to support the curriculum. Lower School trips this year have included visits to Manchester Airport, the Jewish and Macclesfield Museums and an exhibition on the Great Fire of London.

Upper School have a wide range of trips based around historic or geographical sites and the theatre. In recent months these have included visits to Bramhall Hall for a Tudor day and listening to the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester.

Our eldest children in Year 5 and 6 also have the opportunity to experience an activity week residential in Shropshire and to France for a language based trip.

One of the highlights of the Forest calendar is Upper School performing for three nights at The Club Theatre. Recent productions have included Oliver, The Button Box and Treasure Island.

The academic year was brought to an end with an epic "Lads v Dads" football match held at Witton Albion Football Club.

We are sure you will agree that at Forest we offer a wealth and variety of clubs and activities.
