Foundation Stage
Our Early Years Foundation Stage comprises the Pre-Prep Nursery [2-3 year olds], Kindergarten [3-4 year olds] and Reception.

It provides a stimulating, caring and vibrant environment where children aged 2-5 years of age learn important social skills and thrive on the planned learning opportunities, particularly in early reading, writing, mathematics, technology and creativity.
Children feel happy, secure and valued. They gain a wealth of learning experiences including ICT, PE, French and Music tuition from specialist teachers.
There is also the opportunity for children to attend a range of after-school activities including Yoga, Spanish, Dance and Kiddy Cook.
Nursery children may start with their academic year group from the September after their second birthday and they may attend for any combination of mornings, afternoons or full days.
Children gradually increase attendance to full-time during their time in Kindergarten.
Reception is a natural progression from Kindergarten, combining a warm, welcoming atmosphere with a bright, spacious and stimulating environment, which provides a wide variety of learning areas. The children are well-motivated learners, who continue to work within the six areas of learning from the Foundation Stage curriculum, with an increased focus on the teaching of reading, writing and numeracy.
