The PA erected a drinks gazebo and "light" refreshments were served.

The events included a sack race, long jump, throwing and the Year 2 Shuttle Run. The relay races were keenly contested.

Mr Hyde was in charge of the new PA system which was vital to the smooth running of the event.

New for 2009 were the parents races which were a dash in an assortment of frocks and shorts, well supported by all the children and the staff.
