Results
Parents at Forest School are most fortunate in the wide choice of highly respected secondary schools available in the area and we aim to help them chose the right school for their child.
The Forest curriculum goes beyond the demands of the National Curriculum. Our bench mark is the entrance examinations to the area's leading schools including Manchester Grammar School, Withington Girls' School, Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Altrincham Grammar School for Girls and Sale Grammar.
We have recently been informed of the state grammar school's test scores for the examinations that have taken place in September 2010. We have been delighted with the results that our Year 6 children have achieved. These include a combined pass rate of 72% for Altrincham Boys and Girls Grammar, 89% for Sale Grammar and 100% to both St Ambrose and Loreto Grammar Schools.
A priority for Forest is to help guide and prepare our children for future schools. Alongside this we have previously had Year Six SAT's papers externally marked. Through our SAT's success we are delighted to be the only school in Trafford to have gained a place on the Sunday Times top 100 Preparatory Schools' List for 2009/10. Well done to all the staff and children for helping us to receive this accolade.
