Year 5

Mr Booth
Year 5 Teacher
Welcome to Year 5
Spring-1 2012
Welcome back and Happy New Year from everyone in Year 5!

This half term is all about consolidation and pushing ourselves that one step further, following our class motto of,
WORK HARD…PLAY HARD…

This is now the time of year where we continue with our 'work hard ... play hard' motto having fostered a drive to achieve and push ourselves that one step further. In mathematics and Reasoning, practice papers will become a more frequent addition to the timetable, with new topics still being covered and revised along the way.

Our topic for this half term is all things musical. We will be investigating sound in Science, and learning about several different musical cultures from across the globe. Mr Cotton will also be visiting to conduct an exciting music workshop.
