Mr Booth welcomes you to Year 5 at Forest Preparatory School
Autumn 2011
Welcome back to what will be a rewarding and fulfilling year at Forest.
This half term is all about settling in and learning to push yourself to your best. We follow the simple ethos of,
WORK HARD…PLAY HARD…
We will be studying a wide range of different subjects over the next few weeks, and our topic for this half term will be ‘Space’.

A highlight for this half term will be our trip to Jodrell Bank in Macclesfield. We will visit the Lovell Telescope, travel to Mars through 3D cinema and enter the blow up planetarium!

“When we first came into Y5 we talked about what we do in Y5 that is different from Y 4. I think I am going to enjoy Y5 even though I know it will be the hardest year I will do at Forest because of the exams. It will feel different doing Non VR and VR with Mr Hyde.” (Year 5 pupil)
