In computing last week, Years 1-6 revisited topics relating to using the internet safely. All tasks were met with sensible and mature attitudes; the children definitely remember a great deal from last year- which was fantastic to see. In an ever-changing world of technology, it is imperative that children grow up, not only understanding what an incredible resource the internet can be, but also the potential dangers of being online. From understanding the need to keep passwords private in Year 1, to recognising signs of cyberbullying on social media in Year 6, here at Forest, we ensure the children will leave school well-equipped for their future.
If you are unsure about how to manage your child on the internet at home, or need any tips and advice, please click here to revisit our blog from last year. There are multiple links and plenty of information to help you along the way.
Happy and safe surfing to all!
