Once again, it is hard to believe that we are at the end of another academic year. All our lessons, playtimes, assemblies, trips, fairs, sports days, summer shows, swimming galas and homework have, once more, been completed.
Talking to the staff, I know that they have all really enjoyed teaching their classes this year and will be sorry to see them moving up to their next teacher. At the same time, the transition afternoon and meetings have given them a taste of their new cohorts, to which they all look forward to teaching come September.
We will be wishing our fantastic Year 6 children all the very best at their new schools, where I know they will continue to flourish; they all have fantastic futures ahead of them. I would like to personally thank them, many who I have known since Nursery, for all they have done for Forest School.
Additionally, I would also like to thank the staff for their continued dedication and commitment, and you as parents for the enormous support you constantly show and give. It has been another very successful and positive year at Forest and I wish you all a very relaxing summer break when it arrives for you.
