At Forest, the pastoral welfare of your child is paramount. We want our children to feel safe, secure and valued. If a child is happy in their surroundings, then they will flourish both socially and academically. Behind the scenes, we have procedures in place including staff training, discussions and recording to help enable this to happen. This runs alongside other important aspects, including listening to the Pupil Voice through the School Council, carefully planned assemblies and discussions within Relationships and PSHE lessons, with every class having a Secrets Box or Worry Monster.
We always work closely with you- as parents- to ensure that your child is looked after and happy and we greatly appreciated the very positive feedback we received in regard to this in the recent parental survey. Please keep using the variety of channels open to you, should you wish to communicate anything with the school or your child's teacher.
We want your child's school days to be the happiest they can be and ones that they will remember fondly, long into the future.
