One of the highlights in our Forest calendar - ‘The Grandparents Tea Party.’ Our Kindergarten class welcomed their grandparents, shared cake, and played in the Kindergarten garden together. The children even gave a little guided tour of the classroom; and were so proud showing their work and favourite toys.
This is a special celebration for our Kindergarten children, before they leave their pre-school years and progress up to Reception (official school years). We love to make a big fuss of our Grandparents to show them the appreciation they deserve. Grandparents play a big part and are often the ‘glue’ holding families together. Helping with school runs, having sleepovers, trips to the park and keeping little ones entertained.
Thank you to all the grandparents who joined their grandchildren in our Kindergarten class and our Year 6 children who welcomed and showed our visitors the way. We hope you all had a lovely afternoon together and we look forward to watching our families grow together.
