Lucky with the weather, our Lower and Upper School classes took turns in participating in a wonderful Sports Day.
The children enjoyed a variety of races: flat, egg and spoon, bean bag balance, obstacle, hurdles. Children competed in their house groups, with the aim of achieving as many points as possible to contribute to their house score.
Parents were welcomed onto the sidelines, in the class bubbles, to cheer on their children; lower school children participated once in each race whereas the upper school children completed heats.
A huge thank you to all the helpers and to Ms. Forster on her final Sports Day with Forest, for organising such a successful event.
Congratulations to all participants, but notably house winners; Kersal for Lower School and Chorlton for Upper School.
Keep your eyes peeled for next week, when Pre-Prep will get their chance to shine in their own Sports Day.
