Last week, Mr Booth revisited his roots and taught Kindergarten for the day and what better way to spend a Friday morning than baking bread…with a group of 3 and 4 year olds!
Chef Simon (ever-organised and the perfectionist he is) did a sterling job of pre-weighing, making and proving the dough for the children. The pupils were then tasked with using their ever-developing fine motor skills to knead and shape the dough into an animal of their choice, decorating it with a delicious topping.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their impromptu DT lesson, not to mention the delectable end result!
