On behalf of The Lalley Centre in Manchester, Dee and Chris Drake operate a Christmas toy appeal each year, to provide Christmas toys to children living in poverty. The Appeal has been running since 2013.
This year Forest Prep set a task for our pupils to bring in a new or unused toy to donate to this very worthy charity.
On Wednesday morning, the whole school gathered for a collection assembly which resulted in a huge part of the hall floor being covered in every type of gift, that will help to put a smile on hundreds of children's faces this Christmas.
Our PSHE curriculum encourages pupils to think about those less fortunate than themselves. This year we have supported several charities and are incredibly proud of the whole school for their support in the wider community.
