Piano Teacher (Freelance)

We are advertising for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to teach Piano Lessons in term time to pupils in Years 1-6, commencing in January 2025. The position is a freelance one, with the teacher required to invoice their pupils and manage their own register. At present, the teaching day could be either Wednesday afternoon or Thursday – a guaranteed half day of teaching with the opportunity to grow to a full day over time.

Our school – Forest Preparatory School is a co-educational school located in Timperley, with a register of 215 pupils from Nursery to Year 6, offering peripatetic lessons in piano, voice, violin, trumpet, drums and guitar. We have four Choirs, a String Ensemble and Brass Ensemble, as well as a large number of pupils involved in Musical Theatre through LAMDA. Our Lower School (Reception-Year 2) perform a Nativity production each year with the Upper School (Years 3-6) involved in a large-scale Summer Show.
