Year 6 are studying the heart as part of their Science topic on 'Animals, including Humans' and Mrs Wood (Forest parent and doctor) came in to talk to the children about the function of the heart.
Head Boy, Elliot, was delighted to welcome his mum into class. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn many new facts about the heart. The children took their first steps to delving into a Year 7 Biology lesson.
The talk was interactive and full of fascinating facts. The children were fully engaged throughout, asking some very interesting questions.
