We are always looking for new developments that will improve the teaching and learning at Forest, as well as the overall school experience for the children and their families.
At present we are using new technology within the classrooms for lesson observations and staff coaching and also invested in an online pupil survey system, which enables us to establish pupil perceptions of the school, whilst giving an insight into their emotional well-being.
In other areas of the school, we have revamped our weekly Newsletter so that it is now more user friendly for parents to access information and letters. The first edition of this new format was sent last week and has already received positive reviews.
Additionally, we have worked closely with our uniform suppliers to tweak our sports kit to make it smarter and more modern as well as increasing the comfort for the children.
I will send home a letter outlining more clearly these and other developments we are hoping will continue to enhance life at Forest School.
