It has been an exceptionally busy half term for our music teacher, Ms. Wellings, as she has put a tremendous amount of time and effort into preparing the children for the plethora of music performances we have had.
The Greenhouse Choir were successful in winning a shield at the Heaton Mersey Festival. The children sang beautifully and the adjudicator commented on their clear words, use of dynamics and unwavering concentration. Fantastic!
At Altrincham Music Festival, the Chamber Choir performed beautifully and Year 1 did Ms. Wellings proud.
In addition, the Bellevue North Music Festival saw Year 5, 6 and the Year 4 Choir at Forest Prep performing alongside Forest Park, Brabyns Prep and Edenhurst Prep.
The music continues next week with the annual Flower Service.
