As a treat for the end of the academic year, and to celebrate another successful year of 'Reading Friends', Year 5 lead the Year 1s down to Pickering Lodge Park for a well-deserved picnic.
The children enjoyed collecting conquers, playing games with each other and even had time for some cake and biscuits!
Well done to all Year 5 children for assisting the Year 1 children with their reading throughout the year and being such good role models.
