Year 5 and Year 1 pupils joined forces once again to engage in their very first ‘Ready Friends’ system. They enjoyed their shared reading time together. Both classes meet in the Year 1 classroom every week, where the younger children share their current reading book.
Our first session was very successful. Mr Booth and Mrs Burns were impressed by the committed and calm nature of this gathering and look forward to this new ‘Reading Friends’ group developing well over the coming months.
