Yesterday evening, following another busy Open Afternoon in school, several members of the staff team spent the evening in the Little Theatre, in Altrincham, preparing the stage and lighting in readiness for next week's Summer Show.
This is a hectic time of year for staff and over the next two weeks they will have taken part in an Open Morning, written reports, overseen sports and musical events, hosted parents evenings, attended Speech Night and, for many, completed three more nights at the Little Theatre.
Alongside this, we have received externally marked assessment papers from Reception to Year 6, all of which have been returned with the comment that each cohort is ‘significantly higher than the national average’.
All of the above shows the dedication, commitment and teaching ability of the staff here at Forest and at this busy time of the year, I would like to thank them for all they do for our children and the school.
