Kindergarten and Year 5 had a very busy and insightful day as they visited the famous Lovell telescope and learned about all space related matters at Jodrell Bank Observatory.
Kindergarten enjoyed a special story time in the planetarium, where they learned about daytime and nighttime, different planets and moons. This really helped with this term's 'Space' topic. The children loved exploring the beautiful gardens and grounds and even managed playtime on the big playground!
Year 5 deepened their understanding of their space topic through many different and interesting workshops. They learned more about the Earth, sun and moon. They deepened their knowledge on many interesting physics topics.
