Sport is one of our many passions at Forest. This term’s sporting calendar highlights were the Bellevue Northern Schools Netball Tournament and the Upper School Swimming Gala.
As always, we hosted the Netball Cup and it was a pleasure to welcome teams from Edenhurst, Brabyns and Forest Park.
We were delighted to be crowned overall winners and bring home ‘The Forest Cup.’ The weather couldn’t be described as typical ‘spring’ weather, but the tournament went ahead despite the hail and rain!
Moving from a wet Netball court to the water at Sale Leisure Centre, where our Upper School Swimming gala took place. SH and DR, our Swimming Captains, did a brilliant job welcoming the parents and presenting the trophy to the winning House at the end of the tournament. Our Foresters all swam to the best of their ability and showed great team spirit as they cheered on their House peers. Congratulations to ‘Jordan’ who clinched first place.
We look forward to more Sporting Competitions as the summer term progresses.
