As we reach the end of the first half of the Spring Term, it feels like a perfect moment to pause and reflect on what has been a truly encouraging start to 2026 for our school community.
One of the highlights of the term has undoubtedly been the publication of our recent inspection report. I am immensely proud of the outcome and of what it says about our school. The report affirms the quality of education we offer, the strength of our pastoral care and the clarity of our leadership and vision. Most importantly, it recognises the positive experiences of our pupils, their engagement in learning, their personal development and the supportive and nurturing environment in which they thrive. For me personally, the inspection was a powerful reminder that the values we work hard to live every day, are evident to those who visit us. This success belongs to our dedicated staff, our wonderful pupils and our supportive families, and I would like to thank you all sincerely for the part you play in making our school such a special place.
Alongside this academic success, it has been a busy and exciting time in sport. Our pupils have embraced every opportunity with enthusiasm and determination. Cross country events have showcased resilience and teamwork, football fixtures have been played with skill and great sportsmanship, and our gymnasts have impressed with their focus, creativity and confidence. A particular highlight has been the outstanding achievement of our Under 9 water polo team, who were crowned champions, a fantastic accomplishment that reflects both talent and teamwork.
As we head into the half term break, I hope everyone enjoys a well earned rest and time with family and friends. We return for the second half of term with plenty to look forward to, and I am excited about what lies ahead for our pupils and our school.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
