Music continues to thrive and expand Forest Prep School, where every child from Nursery to Year 6 enjoys weekly music lessons led by our Director of Music, Ms Wellings. These inspire a love of music from an early age, helping pupils to develop confidence, creativity and performance skills.
In addition to class lessons, children also have the exciting opportunity to learn a musical instrument with our team of expert visiting tutors. Pupils can work towards recognised music examinations, allowing them to progress through the grades and celebrate their achievements.
Our talented instrumental staff includes Mr J Fallon (Drums), Mrs C Woodward (Violin), Miss N Shaw (Brass), Miss C Todd (Voice), Mrs H Fosbrok (Flute) Mr Billington (Guitar Teacher) and Miss N Savicevic (Piano).
We are proud to offer such a rich musical education, giving every child the chance to discover new talents outside of the classroom.
