Teamwork to Avoid Turmoil

We hope that the treacherous weather conditions in our area and subsequent enforced closure of the school this week did not cause too much disruption for families: it is only the second closure that has occurred at Forest within the past 15 years! Within this event, I am sure the children enjoyed their 'snow day'! These are days which I can still remember both vividly and happily from my own childhood.

Surrounding this 'snow day' was also an example of excellent teamwork, something that we instill within our children and that can, in itself, bring great rewards and satisfaction. The school, parents, and children all came together to harmoniously cope with the events of the day and following this, to quickly restore the school to normal working order soon after. Our dedicated team of staff were able to help and support each other to manage the challenging nature of the school closure and its subsequent readiness.

We thank you all for playing your part and much to the children’s dismay, I hope it is a while until the next one!
