We aspire for all of our children to become confident, secure, caring individuals who achieve personal success and develop a love of learning.
Our vision is embedded in putting pupil success at the heart of every decision.
We provide a happy, stimulating and well-disciplined environment, and encourage each child to reach their full potential and strive for excellence in all areas of school life. We believe in developing pupils’ self-esteem so that they have the confidence to use their individual talents, skills and knowledge effectively and leave Forest equipped to be lifelong learners.
We value the partnership which exists between school, parents and community and the part it plays in realising this vision.
Our mission is expressed through core values. At Forest Preparatory School, we aim to equip our pupils so that they leave us as a well-rounded individual who is :
These are the values and attributes of a ‘True Forester’.
Forest Preparatory School continually undertakes a series of activities to evaluate its provision. Included within this are contributions from staff, pupils, parents and the governing body, the findings of which are incorporated into a School Development Plan.
Over the course of 2024-2025, we shall continue to build on the work we did last year in the three key areas which are aligned with our mission and will support our vision.
The three key areas are:
Overarching Theeme for 2024-2025 | Theme 1 | Theme 2 |
To celebrate the schools centenary year through a multitude of formats.
|
To instil and embed the fortitude of all pupils to encourage more curious and independent learners.
|
To bring the wider community of Foresters (pupils, staff, alumni/ past and present) together to form a central and valued part in our centenary celebrations.
|
Updates through the year will be presented on the school website, newsletters, social media and the Parents Forum.
