Funky Fun Hair Day was a huge success as children arrived at school showing off some truly imaginative hairstyle. It was all in support of the wonderful charity, the Little Princess Trust, which Evie is currently fundraising for and is a cause very close to Evie’s heart.
The day began with Evie and Harriet delivering an informative and inspiring assembly to the whole school about the work of the charity. The girls showed incredible confidence as they spoke in front of everyone, helping children understand how the Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to children and young people who lose their hair through cancer treatment and other conditions.
There was amazing creativity on display throughout the school. From knitted braids and glittery cupcake buns to colourful sprays, crazy Pot Noodle curls, spiky styles and hair accessories galore, the children fully embraced the fun spirit of the day!
Not only did everyone have lots of fun, but together we also raised even more money for this fantastic cause. The donations will be added to Evie’s fundraising total, which has now reached an incredible £6,000+.
We are so proud of the effort, enthusiasm and kindness shown by all the children and families who took part. Thank you for helping make Funky Fun Hair Day such a memorable and meaningful event.
