Chef Simon’s Lunch Menu

The school’s catering is produced in-house by our Chef Manager and all round ‘super-chef’- Chef Simon. He is very ably assisted by our two Catering Assistants; Mrs Wild and Mrs Davies.

Chef Simon and his team want to challenge the perception of school dining, providing great food that captures the imagination. They value feedback from pupils and parents and run regular food debates and feedback sessions with our School Council. During 2025-2026 we will also set up a new Parent Working Party to liaise with the Catering Team at Forest.

Our dining room serves a good range of appetising and nutritious food prepared by Chef Simon – something for all tastes and requirements. Pupils with food allergies and other specific dietary requirements are catered for and our team are more than happy to discuss individual requirements or questions when needed.

Our latest Food Hygiene Insepction was graded 5 Stars – the highest possible grading! The unannounced inspection visit took place in November 2025.
