Wednesday 6th February saw Forest Prep School take 25 pupils to Beech House School, in Rochdale, to compete in the ISA Regional Cross Country Championships.
Despite the perishing cold weather and the boggy course, our pupils ran a tremendous race.
Over 600 pupils took part in the U9, U10’s and U11 qualifying races and the top 10 finishers qualified to take part in the National Final at Princethorpe College, Rugby, on Saturday 3rd March 2018.
We have three pupils who have qualified for the National Final and the congratulations goes to Isobel (Year 4) who came 5th overall in her U9 heat, Jessica (Year 6) who came 4th overall in her race U11 heat and Thea (Year 5) who came 6th in the U11 race.
The three girls will be representing the North in the Cross Country Finals on March 3rd at Prinethorpe College.
