Year 1 have been reading ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’ by Judith Kerr, and as a culmination, they invited their Year 5 Reading Friends to their very own special tea party to celebrate their blossoming reading friendships.
The children gathered in Year 1's classroom and were treated to jam sandwiches and cakes. Year 1 pupils had written out special tea party menus.
It was a wonderful afternoon filled with fun, laughter, good manners, and fabulous friendships.
