Challenge does not simply mean “making things more difficult”. It's a demand that comes at the point where the learner is capable of taking the next steps forward – and here at Forest, teachers work hard at helping the learner meet that demand, rather than ignore it.
This week, children across the school have been working especially hard at challenging themselves in maths. Whether it has been the precision of number formation in Reception, or the arduous task of converting fractions to decimals in Year 5, pupils continue to amaze teachers with their unwavering positive attitude to challenge.
