This half term, Year 1 have been exploring the Arctic, looking at different animals who inhabit there and their adaptabilities to the weather conditions. We always welcome any external links to class topics and Year 1 were lucky enough to have a child’s uncle coincidentally visiting the Arctic. He sent photos and videos to assist the children’s understanding of the climate there, which really helped to deepen their understanding of the topic.
