Part of the Bellevue family

Forest at the Altrincham Music Festival

Over 60 of our pupils took part in the Altrincham Festival last week, held at the Bowdon Rooms.

Year 1 presented two songs – ‘Down on My Allotment’ and ‘Stand Up, Clap Hands’; Year 2 made their recorder debut with ‘Mary’s Lively Lamb’ and ‘Ostinato Ode’; Greenhouse Choir entertained with the cat-themed songs ‘Gobbolino’ and ‘Cat & Mouse Games’ and the Chamber Choir wowed the audiences with ‘Stars’ and ‘This Train Goes Marching In’.

Ms. Wellings was delighted with their performances and made special mention of Year 1. She said, “To perform in front of any audience can be daunting, but Year 1 sang with enthusiasm and joy in front of nearly 300 people. They really did do exceptionally well.”
