A Warm Welcome Back

Firstly, may I say that we have been delighted with how all the children have returned to Forest  following the summer break. I would also like to take this opportunity, once more, to welcome all our new families throughout the school.

I have, this week, sent home a letter that outlines the vision, mission and core values of the school and what makes a ‘True Forester’. This letter also highlighted our three key themes for this academic year, which centre upon independent learning, new assessment systems and achieving the Gold Artsmark Award. We will provide you with regular updates on these themes throughout the course of the year.

Finally, I know we all wish our Year Six children the very best of luck with their external examinations which begin this week. They have worked so hard in class and many have attended additional early morning, after school and holiday sessions too. They are, already, a class to be proud of and we look forward to celebrating their successes over the coming months.
