On Thursday morning last week, Year 5 enjoyed a music workshop given by Mr Cotton, who demonstrated the different sounds made by stringed instruments from around the world.
Year 5 were engrossed throughout; learning about each instrument’s history and origins and the questions they asked were extremely impressive. The children were able to try the instruments for themselves and will be writing about them as part of their DT project.
