Last weekend, over thirty pupils took part in the Bowdon Festival. Our Foresters performed in the piano, singing, brass and speech/drama classes, displaying their talents to very appreciative adjudicators and audiences.
We had a number of 1st/2nd/3rd prizewinners (see the Music & Arts Twitter pages for details) but, more importantly, it was incredibly special to see the children show off their ability and confidence. All received excellent reports and helpful suggestions from the adjudicators
The festival, like so many others, is in danger of not being able to continue without enough volunteers. If anyone can offer their time/expertise, please see Ms Wellings and she will pass on your details.
