In addition to the recent football, cross country, swimming and music successes, we’re now adding another to our belt – CHESS!
On Sunday 26th January, an eager group of pupils from Upper School visited Cheadle Hulme School to take part in the National Chess Championships. Our teams enjoyed a triumphant day, with both the U11 & U9 teams coming in 3rd and 5th place.
We are delighted that they have progressed to the next round… a road trip to Wales is now in store for them! Going head-to-head with many larger schools, our little board-warriors from Timperley were outstanding!
