Upholding Forest Traditions

At Forest, it is our annual traditions which form part of the make up of who we are as a school. We are delighted to see the lengths children and parents have gone to, to uphold some of these traditions.

Reception got creative in designing and making their own Easter bonnets and ‘parading’ them over online platforms to each other. They all looked wonderful!

We have no doubt that the Year 5/ Year 1 and the Year 6/ Reception Reading Friends are missing their weekly story time with each other. Using the magic of the internet, IH in Year 6 shared a lovely story in honour of her weekly Reading Friends slot, which was beautifully read and appreciated by all.

As such a notable event in the calendar, Ms Wellings continues to lead the Year 6’s in practising for the end of year Summer Show via Google Meets. The show must go on…line!
