Edging Slowly Back to our Norm

Following what has been a time of restrictions within school’s, it has been so pleasing to see some events being permitted back into the school calendar.

School trips have been taking place and more are to follow before the end of the academic year. Sports Days have successfully returned and, with careful planning, we were delighted to welcome parents along too. Outside clubs have returned and the attendance has been as strong as ever. The final fortnight will also see our Year Six leavers performing at Sale Waterside, enjoying an overnight residential in the Peak District and being able to attend a leaving ceremony within a marquee in the school grounds.

The children benefit so much from all of these extra-curricular activities and they become an integral part of their memories at Forest. A big thanks to all the staff who are arranging and putting their considerable energy into making these events so pleasurable for all our children.

As always, thank you for all your continued support and patience and we hope that, very soon, school life will begin to feel completely normal once more.
