Unforgettable Shropshire Adventure

At Forest, our teaching and learning extends far beyond the classroom, our residential trips are an important part of our curriculum. This term, with great excitement, our year 5 and year 6 children, set off on a 4 night residential to the picturesque Shropshire countryside, hosted by Manor Adventure. They took part in lots of activities which included zip wires, kayaking, blind trail, high ropes, crate stacking, obstacle course and abseiling.

The skills they develop in a week are endless, from teamwork and problem-solving to trust-building, and most importantly independence and self reliance.

Lots of happy memories have been made which the children will remember in many years to come!
