Welcome to Forest, Maggie.

Meet the latest addition to our Forest family, Maggie, our new School Dog.

Maggie will be trained as a support dog and will help the children to learn their everyday tasks such as reading, maths and relationships. As an integral part of our wellbeing programme, Maggie will also be there as a good friend and listener to children who can be shy or feel a little sad. She will also help our new Foresters to settle into Nursery and Early Years. Based in Mr Booth’s office, she will have her own place where children can make a special visit.

We have already seen the joy that Maggie brings to the children and staff. The Year 6 children are on a rota to help with Maggie and we can’t keep them away!

We look forward to seeing Maggie develop in her Forest duties and living out #theforestway.
