Despite not being able to perform to a parental audience, last week Year 1 did a sterling job of performing their assembly to the rest of the school. The assembly was also videoed for parents to see later on.
The informative, and ever so topical, assembly revolved around Edi the penguin and her quest to help people all over the world stop the ice from melting by saving energy. With clear, confident voices throughout accompanied by beautiful signing (to especially catchy songs!) Year 1 performed perfectly; making Mrs Burns, Mrs Budd and Mrs Wells very proud indeed.
