Year 6: Transition Trip to Crucial Crew

Crucial Crew is a multi-agency safety event, aimed at 10 to 11-year-olds. It is designed to provide children with vital life skills and safety advice. Children are enrolled in the half-day course as part of their transition to secondary schools.

A variety of organisations put on workshops, using scenarios to bring to life different situations.Whilst some workshops explored advice related to antisocial behaviours, others focussed on safety around alcohol, drugs and fireworks, how to escape house fires, inputs on domestic violence, first aid and Metrolink safety.

Year 6 behaved exceptionally well, making Mrs Knowles and Mrs Johal very proud.
