Exploring Eyam and Extending Education in Year 4

This half term, the children of Year 4 have been learning all about the plague in the 17th century.

Last week, they were able to see how The Black Death reached a small northern village – Eyam. We took a tour of the church, gathered information at the museum and traced the steps of the villagers to the boundary stone.

Mr Francis was extremely impressed with the children's inquisitiveness, enthusiasm and impeccable behaviour throughout the trip.
