Last week, Year 1 and 2 were lucky enough to set out on an adventure: to explore Knowsley Safari Park.
Throughout our trip, we spotted (and were able to name) many animals which have linked to Year 1's ‘Africa’ topic: lions, giraffes, zebras and rhinos to name a few! In addition, the children got to touch a snake as part of their Africa workshops, watch a sea lion and birds of prey display and were taken on a journey through the continents as part of their safari experience.
Both classes were enthusiastic when answering questions and showed impeccable behaviour throughout- all were a pleasure to take on the trip.
