As they move through the school, each year group provides its own challenges for our pupils. Notoriously, Year 5 is an especially challenging year as intensified preparation for the early second school examinations commences, therefore the motto ‘Work Hard, Play Hard’ is extremely fitting. This week, the pupils of Year 5 have showcased exactly this: with some challenging verbal reasoning work being done with Mr Hyde counteracted by their 10 minute challenge to see which group could build the best snowman.
Every year, the determination and resilience demonstrated by pupils in Year 5 always makes us proud.
