The start of a new school year and I am very excited that I will be taking on the role of Music Captain. Music at Forest has had a kick-start this year with Main Choir becoming even bigger, as lots of new people have joined. Along with lots of girls joining, there are also more boys in Main Choir now too!
Chamber Choir has seen lots of people auditioning this year, spanning Year 4 to Year 6. Additionally, Year 6 are starting a new topic in Music – Balinese Gamelan music. We have also met a new music teacher for those who want to learn brass instruments: like the cornet, trumpet and trombone. As if all that isn't enough, Nativity Band rehearsals have begun already, with some very funky tunes.
Music has well and truly started with a bang.
