Upper school had their first P.E. lesson back last week after their summer break, and what better way to start than by doing fitness testing. All children were successful in completing a 2km run and abdominal crunches (to burn off all their summer ice-creams).
To encourage healthy eating and fitness, children will complete the same tests each term: totalling three overall throughout the academic year. Children are not competing against each other, but against themselves. Can they improve on their run time? Can they beat how many abdominal crunches they did in 1 minute? Only time will tell…
