Thankfully, the sun shone as our runners assembled on the start line at John Leigh Park for the first of the Salford Schools' Cross Country Championships. Team Forest were delighted to welcome our Year Three debutants for the season and they truly put in remarkable performances.
There were a number of outstanding runs this week, with our older girls all featuring in the dizzy heights of the top 5 in their respective races. However, our runner of the week, year and history has to go to games captain, IH, who finished first, what an achievement. As ever, our sincerest thanks are extended to the runners and their families who transported and supported them, allowing them to proudly represent their school.
