Archaeology Workshop

Year 3 took part in an Archaeology Workshop. They learned about the work of an archaeologist, how a site is surveyed, how a dig is planned and how skeletons buried with artefacts, can tell us about the past.

Ancient artefacts were carefully handled and notes were made on them. Mrs Byrne talked about how to think like an archaeologist and to have an open mind about what is discovered.
