Year 6 E-Safety Workshop

On Thursday 18th May 2017, Year 6 took part in a workshop about E-Safety. The afternoon was led by two ladies, one of whom used to be a police officer and the other had been a teacher. The session included a question and answer session on some clips that were shown about cyber bullying and the impact it has on people.

There was also a very useful discussion about retaining privacy whilst online and how to ensure that personal information isn’t shared with strangers. The children found the workshop very beneficial and came away from the afternoon with the phrase “Don’t open your door” firmly in their minds, as a reminder to not allow strangers into their personal lives online.
